See the CARES Client Assistance for Re-employment & Economic Support Guide, Chapter IV, Part D, 7.0.0, for Community Waiver medical status codes. These are not the same codes as nursing home medical status codes. A medically needy MA client could be eligible as a categorically needy waiver client (Group B), thus requiring a change in the medical status code from medically needy to categorically needy.
