Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services Obsolete Medicaid Eligibility Handbook For the current MEH, see http://www.emhandbooks.wi.gov/meh-ebd/ For the current BC Plus Handbook, see http://www.emhandbooks.wi.gov/bcplus/ |
5.17.7.1 Client loses eligibility
Terminate eligibility, using adverse action logic, if the client:
Reaches the age of 65 years.
Moves out of state.
Reports that she no longer needs treatment for breast or cervical cancer.
Obtains health insurance that covers treatment for breast or cervical cancer or another type of full benefit MA.
Send a manual negative notice to the client if one of these changes is reported, indicating that she is no longer eligible for Wisconsin Well Woman Medicaid. At this point offer to her a HCF 10100 Medicaid, BadgerCare Family Planning Waiver Registration Application to test eligibility for other MA programs.
When a woman on Wiscconsin Well Woman moves to another county or tribal area, transfer the case to the new agency. The agency that the client reports the move to must collect information about the changes, for example, the new address. If the agency does not have sufficient information about the changed circumstances, it must request from the client, according to MA verification policy (1.2).
Follow the process detailed in 5.17.8.
