To report changes, click Report My Changes under My Benefits on the Account Home menu.
Note: | ACCESS can be used to report changes for FoodShare, health care, and Child Care, not W-2. Changes that could affect W-2 eligibility must be reported to a person's W-2 agency within 10 days of the change. |
The Report My Changes page will be displayed. The changes that people must report differ based on the program(s) that they are enrolled in. People should check the boxes for any changes they need to report. Some changes cannot be reported through ACCESS. For those changes, people should call their agency or worker to report the change.
People who report changes through ACCESS do not also need to contact their agency to report the change. It may take up to 10 days for the reported change to be processed, and, in some cases, the change may not result in a change in benefits.
For most changes, people need to provide proof of the change. Proof must be provided (by mail, fax, or in person at an agency) within 10 days of a worker's request for proof or the changes cannot be made and people's benefits may end.
For more information about reporting changes, see Chapter 5 Report My Changes.
