Note: Other Income is also known as Unearned Income.

Income Type:
Other income types may include, but are not limited to: Child Support, Social Security, Unemployment, Pension, etc.
CARES Amount:
Total amount in CARES for that source of income.
Disregard Amount:
Amount in CARES to be disregarded from the income for that source.
Disregard Type
The disregards listed on this page are limited to the 503, DAC, or Widow Widower disregards.
Are the other income details from CARES correct? Reviewer must select yes or no from the drop down box for each type of other income listed.
Yes = The amount is correct.
No = The amount is incorrect. If answer is no, enter the correct amount in field (7).
The correct amount entered by the reviewer when the answer to field (6) is no.
If any of the other income budgeted for the review month is incorrect, the reviewer must select a reason from the drop down box that caused the other income to be incorrect. A discrepancy reason must be selected for each incorrect other income source.
Determine if there is other income that has not been reported or included that should have been. Use data exchanges, KIDS, collateral information, and other resources available to determine this.
Yes = Reviewer found that all other income has been included.
No = Reviewer determined that a source of other income has not been included.
N/A = This question doesn’t apply to the case being reviewed.
When the answer to field (9) is no, the reviewer must select a discrepancy reason from the drop down box for what caused it to be incorrect. Enter dollar amount of error in the Comments section of the Healthcare Error Identification page and/or the FoodShare Discrepancies and Findings page.
